Planting Seeds of Intention Ritual

December 26, 2018

This time of year is the perfect time to plant powerful seeds of intention in fertile soul soil.

You’ll need:

  • Candle

  • Bay Leaves

  • A Sharpie marker

  • A plate, bowl, or cauldron to drop the burning Bay Leaf into while it burns

  • Witch’s Bell (any bell that sounds magical to you)

  • Piece of paper

What you do:

  1. After gathering items, take several deep breaths to center yourself.

  2. Think about your intention. Be clear, specific, and coherent with your intention. For instance, simply writing “abundance” is not very clear. The Universe could send you an abundance of bills. Is that what you want?

  3. Now, write your intention on the piece of paper or in your journal. Picture yourself when the intention has come to pass. When the picture is clear in your mind, ring the bell three times and light the candle.

  4. Stare into the flame and enter into liminal space.

  5. Continue to visualize yourself after your intention has manifested. See, Hear, and Feel the manifestation of your desire.

  6. When you’re ready, write the same intention on the Bay Leaf.

  7. Burn the Bay Leaf in the candle flame. The flame ignites your intention and passion as the smoke sends it to the universe to manifest. If matter can neither be created nor destroyed, then it could be that the Bay Leaf is transforming into your desired outcome.

  8. Sit with your intention and the manifestation for as long as you’d like. When you’re ready, say: “It always works. Always a blessing.”

Snuff out the candle flame and ring the bell three times to close the spell.

     A couple of tips:

    1. You get to want what you want. No matter what it is. However, bear in mind that magic has consequences. If you wish to do harm, be forewarned that it will come back to you also.

    2. Word your seed intentions as if you already have the want or desire.

    3. Don’t have a Bay Leaf? Write your intention on a piece of paper and continue with the ritual.

An enchanted life is all about the choices we make and how we want to live this one precious life. Magic is the intention we plant that comes to fruition. We are wise women, it’s in our bones and DNA to live a bewitchingly enchanted life.
