Heather Dakota is the author of more than 40 books for reluctant readers. She has been writing stories since she knew how to write. Heather was a reluctant reader herself. She was discouraged by the lack of books on the subjects that interested her, particularly science. It wasn't until college that she discovered a world of books that could excite her imagination and feed her mind. Now an avid reader, Heather knows the importance of bringing kids to books that speak to their individual passions.
