My Garden: My garden is done for this season. And I don't really have time at the moment to plant for the cooler weather. Maybe I'll try something simple...like strawberries, kale, and spinach. We'll see...photos to come!

My Pets: Okay, yes, I'm a cat lady! It's not that I don't like dogs. I actually love them, but at the moment these two little creatures (and I use both of those terms loosely) are part of the family. They are both rescue cats and living the posh life!

This is Lightning. No, he's not fat. He's just big boned. He's known around the house as Fat Cat. He shows up in illustrations from time to time.	This is Marble. She was named for her bi-colored eyes. She is a princess and a diva all rolled into one. Lizards in the house do not stand a chance against this girl!

My Travels: One of my all time favorite things to do is travel! Anywhere! Anytime! I just love immersing myself in other cultures and/or nature. However, I like going down the road just as much as I like traveling abroad. Keep an eye out for me and my camera. You never know when or where I might show up. Here is a photo from my latest trip! Oh and I'm planning next year's trips already! Italy anyone?

Favorite Books: I love to read! I can probably get caught reading just about anywhere! I'm into an Agatha Christie mode right now. Currently, I'm reading The Help, and The Book Thief  (and about 20 more books) are in my queue. I'm scouring used book stores for Ecotopia by Ernest Callenbach. I'm also into eating healthy, simple living, and yoga, so I have 3-season Diet, Omnivore's Dilemma and Yoga Journal on my list of books and magazines from the library. So many books, so little time!
